Profile

Under your profile icon you're able to manage your TaxLab profile, Log Out or view any recent entities you've been in.

For users that have been invited to entities outside of their firms account you'll be able to switch what 'Instance' of TaxLab account you're in to view the different entities you've been invited to.

Viewing entities

Your TaxLab Home screen has search and filtering functions that allow you to view the entities you have access to, and all the entities within the account you're a part of.

Entities that you have access to will be in a blue font, to only view entities that you've got access to select 'Mine' under 'ENTITIES' in the filtering options on the left hand side of your TaxLab home screen.

You can filter your entities further using the options under STATUS, TAX TYPES, and RETURN

On your entities table you can use the search box to find specific entities. You just need to start typing the entity name or tax file number.

Get access to an entity

On the Home page, in the list of entities, all the entities that you do not have access to will appear in grey font, with the text “No access” in the Income tax and/or Fringe benefit tax columns.

To identify who has access to an entity:

  1. Click the Entity name.
  2. Click the Users tab.
  3. Click a user’s name to view their email address.
  4. Contact the user to request access to the Entity.

Alternatively, you can contact your firm’s Administrator to request access to the Entity.

Any users who have "Add self" or Administrator access are able to grant themselves access to any Entity under the account via the users tab in the Entity.
