      • an uppercase letter
      • a digit
      • a symbol
  4. Enter a display name, your given name and surname

You will then be directed to set up multi-factor authentication.

Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

To enhance the security of your accounts, we have implemented mandatory MFA.

MFA adds an extra layer of protection, requiring a second form of verification in addition to your password.
You can use either Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator from your phone.
  1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator app from the app store on your phone.
  2. Open your authenticator application, scan the QR code on your TaxLab login screen and click Continue.
  3. Enter the code from your authenticator application and click Verify.

Once this has been done you are all set. Each time you log in to TaxLab you will be prompted to provide your MFA.

Set up Single Sign-On (SSO)

TaxLab allows single sign-on using Microsoft Azure B2C.

If you'd prefer to use SSO with Microsoft and TaxLab please see out support article Set up Single Sign-On (SSO).

Administrator permissions

We recommend that every account has at least one user with Administrator permissions in TaxLab. If you happen to be the initial user from your firm to create an account with TaxLab please contact us at support@taxlab.online so we can set this up for you.

Once you have Administrator permissions, you will have the capability to allocate Administrator privileges to additional users within your account.

Next steps

You can now ask other users to set up their TaxLab user accounts and start getting your entities into TaxLab.
