Overview
Enabling email sending in TaxLab allows users to send templated payment notices for provisional tax directly to entity contacts from within their TaxLab account.
Activate email sending feature
This feature must be enabled by TaxLab for your organisation.
Emails that you send directly from TaxLab are delivered as sent from your own email address and domain. To set this up, some configuration of MX records is required at your end by an appropriate person (typically an IT team member or someone with in-depth knowledge of your email provider’s setup). An MX record is what directs an email to a mail server, and this is what allows TaxLab to send emails on behalf of a TaxLab user.
Please contact us to request activation, and provide a contact email address of your appropriate technical person. Once enabled, we will contact your technical person with the details needed to update your email MX records.
What’s next?
Once you have email sending from TaxLab set up you’ll need to make sure you have added client Contacts to entities.
