View the Income Tax Position

You can use the tax position to review the income tax calculation.

Click the Tax Position tab in the top menu.

You can review the tax calculation in different ways:

• The Tax Return view displays the Statement of Taxable Income, Statement of Tax Liability and any remaining balances.
• The Tax Provision view displays the Statement of Taxable Income and the impact to Current Tax Expense, Deferred Tax Expense, Deferred Tax Balance, Current Tax Balance and Other Balance.
• The Analysis by year view displays the tax calculations for multiple years, if the data is in the system. You can compare this year’s figures with prior years to identify any trends and changes.
• The Analysis by version view allows you to display and analyse the tax calculations for multiple versions. You can compare a version to another version or the live data, to quickly identify what is different. For example, you can compare the tax provision version to the tax return version.
