Benefits assigned to former employees

Update an employee

To assign past employees to the Former Employee Pool, please follow these steps:

  1. Update Departure Date:
    • Navigate to the Employees page.
    • Enter a departure date for each employee who has left the company.
  2. Review Sense Checks:
    • Proceed to Workpapers > Analysis > Sense Checks.
    • Review the Benefits Attributed to Former Employees sense check. Taxlab will list any benefits assigned to former employees.

Bulk update multiple employees

To bulk assign past employees to the Former Employee Pool:

  1. Review and Select Employees:
    • Review the list of former employees with benefits assigned.
    • Select the checkbox next to the header row to choose all employees listed on the screen. 
  2. Click on the Edit button.
    • In the Treatment field select Former Employee from the dropdown menu.
