View benefit values, FBT and GST

You can determine the data columns that display so you can view the data that is relevant to you. There are three views: Value (default), FBT and GST.


To change the view and display other data columns:

  1. On the Benefits page, click the relevant Quarter tab.
  2. Click the benefit category that you want to view.
  3. Click the FBT, GST and Value buttons, as required, to display the associated data columns.

Search and filter benefits

You can search through a list of benefits by employee ID or name. The search function is dynamic – as you type in the Search box, the system updates the list of benefits with suggested search results.

The filter function allows you to carry out a more in-depth search. You can filter the list of benefits by: First name, Last name, Category, Cost Centre, Employee Id, Treatment, Provided From and To, Value exc GST, GST rate, Value Incl GST and GST payable.

  1. On the Benefits page, click the relevant Quarter tab.
  2. Click the benefit category that contains the benefits.
  3. To search for benefits: In the Search box, enter the first few letters or numbers of the employee ID or name associated with the benefits.
  4. To filter the benefits: Click the Filter button > enter your filter criteria > click the Filter button.

Editing benefits

There are three ways to edit a benefit, depending on whether you want to edit a single benefit or multiple benefits in bulk, and if the benefits sit within the same category or not.

Edit a single benefit

  1. On the Benefits page, click the relevant Quarter tab.
  2. Click the benefit category that contains the benefit you want to edit.
    • Select one of these options:
    • Click the row of the benefit you want to edit.
  3. Select the check box of the benefit you want to edit > click the Edit button.
  4. Edit the benefit as required.
  5. Click Save.

Edit multiple benefits in the same benefit category

  1. On the Benefits page, click the relevant Quarter tab.
  2. Select one of these options:
    • To edit all of the benefits in the category: Select the check box of that category, then click the Edit button.
    • To edit some of the benefits in the category: Click the category to open it, select the check boxes of the benefits you want to edit, then click the Edit button.
  3. Edit the benefits as required.
  4. Click the Save changes to [x] benefits button.

Edit multiple benefits in multiple benefit categories

  1. On the Benefits page, click the relevant Quarter tab.
  2. Select the check boxes of the categories whose benefits you want to edit.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Edit the benefits as required.
  5. Click the Save changes to [x] benefits button.
